This past weekend we celebrated my father's birthday with a wonderful family brunch at our house. Madden calls him Papa and was super excited to sing happy birthday....and get cake!
We've had a lot of birthdays the past couple months and he's quickly caught on how this whole birthday thing works....
Singing Happy Birthday = Birthday Cake
Birthday Cake = Presents
Presents = Playing with new Toys
So anytime I mention someone's birthday coming up, Madden starts sing Happy Birthday. As soon as Papa's birthday cake was put on the table he was ready to roll.
