Thank the Lord it finally feels like Spring!!
This weekend we had the most beautiful weather and were able to enjoy being outside all weekend long. We started off by dinning out picnic-style on the deck Friday night. Mainly because we haven't gotten around to getting the patio furniture out of the garage and cleaned off yet. Madden really wanted to eat outside and how could I say no, we've been couped up all winter long.
Dave wins the Daddy of the Year Award for his hard work this weekend. This girl went out and purchased a play set last week, after coming across a metal/plastic one at a great deal we couldn't pass up. No staining or splinters in our future, yay! ;)
This bad boy got delivered Wednesday afternoon. Our intentions were to keep MJ from seeing it BUT it's kind of hard to hid seven pieces in the back yard from a 3.5 year old eyes. Dave attempted to get in a couple hours of work Wednesday and Friday evenings for a head start.
Madden asked about a thousand times when his swing set would be done. Saturday morning was full of as many distractions as this mama could think of. We watched Violet for a few hours so that helped. The chased bubbled for an hour, picked dandelions, played with chalk, read each other books, "cooked" up some food, had a dance party and enjoyed some snacks.

After 10.5 hours on Saturday of non-stop hard labor (and love), it was complete and ready for some non-stop fun!
**Now if only MJ could figure out how to swing by himself he could enjoy some independent play from mom and dad.
