and they are off...

IUI Complete!

It went very well. Our appointment was at 9:30am, since Dr.F's office is over by my new work I met Dave over there to drop off his boys. Then we had to wait 40-45 minutes for them to "wash" and prepare them in the lab so we were able to leave and go grab breakfast for me and lunch for Dave. Once we returned they took us back and we both were able to look at the sperm under a microscope, swimming and squirming all around. Dave later said he thought they looked like gnats, lol!

We did the procedure, it seriously took less than 10 minutes, asked a few questions and then we were out of there. I had some cramping and felt bloated for a few hours afterwards but it was nothing! The nurse said we had well over 100 million swimmers to start with and they used 64 million but only about 15% of that are actually good candidates to get the job done, which apparently is definitely normal. Everything about them has to be perfect, the correct portion and size head, shape, structure, the length of tail, motility, and mobility.  She said his boys looked good and it was a really good number.... so you would think at least ONE of those boys better find there way!!!!

SWIM BOYS SWIM!!!
