For Mother's Day we got to celebrate a new graduate in our household!
It may have taken him just shy of 10 years to go back to school to finish his bachelor's degree but he did it, and we are so proud of him!!!
Madden did a great job during the ceremony considering it was during nap time. Luckily he let me put him down for an early nap and got a solid hour in before I had to wake him up to get over to the iWireless Center. We picked my parents up on the way and met Dave's parents over there a good 30 minutes early. We spotted daddy when he walked out and waved to him. MJ actually stayed in his seat for a full hour before he was over sitting still.
Grateful for grandparents to be with us, my mom took MJ out to the concourse to run around and burn some energy for awhile. He was super excited to see daddy once the ceremony finally ended.
After the graduation ceremony Dave and I had a wedding to go to. It was an absolutely gorgeous reception at the River Center.
Sunday we met both our parents for some Mother's Day pizza. Madden was pure entertainment per the usual. Dave and Madden gave me a card and iTunes gift card for workout music. It was low key Mother's Day after a crazy busy Saturday.
