Back to Chicago we go! For an adults only weekend that is :)
Dave got some cheap Cubs tickets for a Friday afternoon game.
MJ slept at his grandparents house Thursday night so we could be on the road by 6:30am. We got up to Chicago nice and early so we went straight to our hotel, we were able to check in, drop our stuff off and park the car. Then we took a cab to Wriglyville to enjoy some adult time!
The Windy City totally held true to its name, especially at the game but luckily our cheap seats blocked the wind and were actually one of the warmest spots in the park, yay for being cheap.
Friday night we went to dinner at Lou Malnati's for some amazing pizza then to Second City Comedy Club for a show. It was hilarious and they gave an on core with some new material and improv but went way too late for this girl, we didn't get out of the show until 2:00am! I don't remember the last time I was up that late aside from feeding an infant.
Saturday morning we took advantage of sleeping in a bit and the hotels free breakfast then walked around the beautiful city. We went up to the Hancock Building to the 94th floor for a pretty amazing view of the city. Conveniently the parking ramp we parked at was right across the street from Sprinkles Cupcakes!!! We stopped by there to pick up a few cupcakes to bring home.
