I'm way behind on my updates thanks to some technical difficulties with our computer and the hubs having to be on it to get his school work done. So I'm back dating everything to get up to speed!

We started the Easter celebrating the week before by going to Dave's parents church for a pancake breakfast and an Easter egg hunt. Madden's first officially hunt he was able to actually participate in by himself. The church has a full time daycare so they have a gated playground and play area. For the egg hunt they split the kiddos up by age group and had all the crazy toddlers in the gated area which I was thankful for.
This week, daycare had Friday off to close on a house so I took a vacation day to have a Mommy/Madden Day!
We took our first trip to the Bettendorf Family Museum, he had an absolute blast!
We went first thing in the morning which was perfect but about 20 minutes after we got there it quickly become utter chaos with kids running in every direction because there is so much to do.
After the museum we picked up lunch and went to visit daddy at work to eat together. He showed off to everyone at Dave's work and definitely turned up the charm to a whole new level.
Saturday we made our way up to Des Moines for my side of the families Easter celebration. MJ only took a 30 minute nap and was non-stop going the entire day. He was quite the handful! We had another egg hunt, this time he knew there was suppose to be candy inside so as soon as he found an egg he wanted to open it and eat the candy. Smart boy.
Easter Day we met Dave's parents for brunch at Village Inn then went back to their house for his Easter basket. After nap time we went over to Jordan and Stephs for the cousins to play and a family dinner.
