Blizzard 2011

This week the Midwest was hit with one mighty storm system and we received 18.4 inches of snow. With blizzard conditions all the offices at the hospital I work with closed down so I luckily got to enjoy an adult snow day that doesn't happen very often. Wednesday morning we woke up to snow drifts so high in the front of our house you can't even tell we have stairs. They were up to my chest!! It took Dave two days to shovel out the drive and walkway up to the house. Oh the joys of living in the Midwest :)
