Baby Girl Bumpdate: Weeks 21- 23

How far along: Weeks 21/22/23 

Maternity clothes: Majority of all maternity 

Stretch marks: No

Sleep: Still pretty well until the last few days. Sometimes the usual quick bathroom break and typically fall right back to sleep with no problems. Madden has been deciding to wake up extra early the past couple weeks during the week and on the weekends (6:00 am no thanks!) so definitely not sleeping in these days so naps have made an appearance on weekends again which are not typical for me at all. The past few days I have just started waking up multiple times and not sleeping well when I do fall asleep. So we'll see if this keeps up. 

Weight: Most definitely had a jump these past few weeks which actually isn't surprising considering the food choices while traveling and on weekends lately. As of my Monday appointment, up 15 lbs total. 

Exercise: Keeping up the 10K+ steps a day 6 out of 7 days of the week. As long as I can get to the gym during the week or take a couple breaks at work during the week to walk I can usually get my steps in no problem. Sundays seems to be my lazy day which is day I seem to not hit that goal.

Wedding weekend in Minnesota

Baby Update: Heart rate was at 150 bpm at this past weeks appointment. Little Miss has become one very active mover and her kicks are starting to get pretty powerful already. 

Best Moment(s) this (4) Weeks: Potty training the Little Man is going well. Definitely not full proof yet but he has been doing great and when he does have accidents I need to remind myself he is only (almost) three and this is so very new to him still. Madden started swim lessons at the daycare's neighborhood pool with 3 of his daycare buds. He is doing awesome! He has his first big weekend sleeping over 2 nights at grandma and papa's while Dave and I went to a wedding in Minnesota and had an adult weekend away :) We celebrated Stella's 3rd birthday. Went to the Fourth of July parade, watched fireworks and the River Bandits baseball game. 

Miss Anything:  I could totally go for some spicy tuna rolls and enjoying a beer on the deck but I'm okay giving them up for awhile.

Movement: This kid is getting out of control with movement lately. She is very active and can see movement and belly rolls outside. Madden hasn't had the full patience to wait long enough in between kicks to feel anything, and when he does he's usually more enthralled with what's on the TV to realize baby just kicked him.  

Food cravings: Still craving Tropical Sno, ICEE's or Whitey's slushy's. Although the past few days my sweet tooth has really started kicking in, chocolate is starting to creep in on the craving list along with fruity candy.  

Anything making you queasy or sick: None

Gender: It's A GIRL! Still a bit shocked even after a few weeks. 

Big Brother: Madden is becoming so much more aware of the belly and the fact there is a baby on the way. There has been multiple times he will look at my belly and lean over and kiss it all on his own. One morning he came into bed to cuddle and watch cartoons, he saw my bare belly and leaned in to say "Good morning baby" and laid his head down on it. {Heart Melting} He asked about the baby more often. Says there is a baby in his belly too. And when I have my bare belly exposed will stick his out and say "They match" or "They the same Mommy" or even try to belly bump our bellies together.

Labor Signs: N/A

Symptoms: Already feeling large!?! If I eat a bit too much I feel extremely uncomfortable and as if my belly might explode from being so tight. It already bumps into things and doesn't know it's own size yet. ;) The past couple days complete exhaustion has come back in full force and my body is feeling achy and sore, especially my hips.

Mood: For the most part I have been feeling really good up until the past few days. Feeling overly tired and sore all the time along with what feels like the terrible threes is not a great combo. This mama has had a very low patience level and a few mommy timeouts. 

Looking forward to: It's Birthday Season round here, we'll be celebrating Dave's birthday, then little Miss Emery's 1st, Madden's 3rd, Papa Dexter's, Grandam Karen's and then BFF Violets 2nd next month. We are just finally starting to get MJ's big boy room planned out, in the process of getting cleared out now and hopefully painting it this week. Also looking forward to watching MJ bond with his little sis on the inside.
